Introduction: As populations worldwide are experiencing more frequent and intense weather climate extremes, many professionals of the WADEM community at frontline managing compounding cascading impacts on physical mental health. Vulnerable, isolated, marginalized people most affected by threats. The elderly children faced 3.7 billion life-threatening heatwave days in 2021 than annually 1986-2005 increasing need for emergency care a large scale. Method: World Health Organization (WHO) Meteorological (WMO), together with partners from health agencies, services, academia other sectors collaborating to accelerate use climate, environmental science services better protection. A selection key resources tools will be highlighted that can used understand, anticipate, manage risks extreme climate. Results: Participants learn about new WHO-WMO ClimaHealth Portal, global knowledge action hub huge potential facilitating learning protect risks. Tools include Global Heat Information Network (GHHIN) Checklist Technical Brief improved preparedness response context COVID-19, WHO Guidance Document Measuring Climate Resilience Systems providing framework indicators assessing protecting systems Conclusion: intensifies, integrated climate-informed sector including multi-hazard early warning plans, as well strengthened partnerships between hydrometeorological indispensable further restrict adverse impacts. Accelerating uptake upscale existing is urgently needed meet societal challenges caused change extremes.
